Description
The PDA can control up to 256 different receivers. (For practical reasons one PDA should not be used with more than 12 different receivers, keeping in mind that up to eight different simulating devices can be connected with any one receiver). Switching from one receiver to another is just a few mouse-clicks and a few seconds away. Only one PDA in your hand instead of 12 ore more transmitters. This way the instructor/controller can follow any direction and development an exercise might take and always be ahead with realistic simulation of Battlefield Effects.
Preparation of a PDA is easy. Using general purpose laptops and commercial software makes programming of drawings, buildings and mapsketches and transfer of this information to the PDA easy.
