Grenade Discharger Smoke Screening RP - Rubber Bursting Vehicle Discharged
Description
The Grenade Discharger Smoke Screening Red Phosphorus when used in salvoes from suitably placed AFV grenade launchers produces a rapid optimum smoke cloud with no ‘window hole’ effect. The smoke cloud conceals movement of friendly positions and manoeuvres thus reducing the enemy’s ability to deliver a specified attack profile. The smoke screen is achieved by a combination of air and ground bursting red phosphorus and rubber munitions to give a maximum possible screen in size and duration for AVF protection. The smoke characteristics are a burn time of 30 seconds minimum. The V108 grenade is mission selectable for the roles of smoke camouflage, concealment or deception of AVF’s on the battlefield.
