Grenade Hand 83 C Series- Percussion Ignition
Description
The N201 Grenade Hand 83 CS consists of an extruded aluminium casing surmounted by a standard flip-up lever ignition system (employing a centre-fire percussion cap). A single emission port is located centrally at the opposite end. To operate, the twist and pull pin is removed whilst the flip-up lever is held against the grenade body. The striker fires the percussion cap when the flip-up lever is released. Effective emission of a white irritant smoke cloud begins in less than 5 seconds. The grenade is fully waterproof.
